We are currently recruiting for an Onsite AV Engineer for a key client. Our client is a global leader in video collaboration and customer AV.
On-site Support Scope
- On-site support to be provided within business days with on-site hours and attendance requirements to be determined at the Customer's discretion (However, any hours in excess of 8 per day MUST be pre-approved by either Operations Manager
- Troubleshooting and User Support of Zoom Rooms and General Zoom inquiries
- Training and supporting L1 and other technical staff
- Providing executive support and training to executive admins as needed
- Monitoring of events
- Proactive support (Monitoring, Config and Updates, System Optimization)
- Validation of new Software and Hardware including Beta
- Escalation to Zoom Engineering if a Zoom Software issue.
- Recording and reporting of issues (case tracking, weekly/monthly reporting)
- Install, repair and configuration of Zoom Rooms

Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge to be independent and ready to go on day one but specific knowledge on customer's internal process will be provided.

- Video, Audio & Control line drawings (Required)
- Mechanical & Electrical drawings (Required)
Scope of Work:
Resource(s) main responsibility will be within Zoom Room project activities, however, during downtime, there may be light work and help needed around Zoom Phone.
- Review A/V and M&E line drawings for new Zoom Rooms
- IT project meetings (as needed)
- Document & inventory Zoom Room & Phone appliances
- Provisioning of customers approved hardware
- Create & setup Zoom Room account profiles
- Assist as Tier1 for networkable Zoom & Crestron appliances that may be offline during validation
- Perform site surveys during handoff from Aa/V integrator to ensure rooms are complete and ready for validation
- Perform functional validation of each Zoom Room to ensure the room account is online, appliances are updated to the latest firmware, OS & software versions configured correctly & all Zoom Room features are operational
- As time permits, may help with the Zoom Phone rollout
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Not to exceed 8 hours per day, unless pre-approved)
Required Education and Experience:
- Experience in a Telephony Infrastructure Engineer or similar role
- AV/Zoom room deployment and configuration experience
- CTS is preferable, along with other industry-recognized AV/IT certifications
- Covid Vaccination Required
