We are currently recruiting for a Competency Leader - Generative AI (VP Role) for one of our key customers, a Nasdaq-listed data analytics and digital operations & solutions company that partners with clients to improve business outcomes and unlock growth. By bringing together deep domain expertise with robust data, powerful analytics, cloud, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML), we create agile, scalable solutions and execute complex operations for the worlds leading corporations in industries including insurance, healthcare, banking and financial services, media, and retail, among others.
The Generative AI Competency Leader will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our practice focused on generative artificial intelligence (AI). This role requires a combination of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and leadership abilities to deliver innovative generative AI solutions to our clients. The Practice Leader will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that leverage generative AI techniques across various domains.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Practice Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy for the generative AI practice, aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders interested in generative AI solutions.
2. Develop AI Strategy & offerings: Collaborate with clients to define their AI vision and goals. Design customized AI strategies & offerings aligned with their business objectives, industry trends, and technological advancements.
3. Lead Implementation of AI Solutions: Lead the implementation of AI solutions by working closely with cross-functional teams. Define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure seamless integration of AI technologies into existing systems and processes.
4. Provide Expert Guidance: Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and stakeholders, offering expert guidance on AI-related decisions. Educate and raise awareness about AI best practices, potential risks, and ethical considerations.
5. Lead AI Transformation: Drive AI transformation initiatives, including change management, training programs, and cultural shifts. Foster a data-driven mindset within organizations and promote the adoption of AI across various departments.
6. Stay Current with AI Developments: Continuously research and evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies. Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements to provide up-to-date recommendations.
7. Collaborate with AI Specialists: Work closely with AI specialists, data scientists, engineers, and other relevant stakeholders to develop cutting-edge AI solutions. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.
8. Measure and Evaluate: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of AI initiatives. Regularly monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and provide insightful reports to clients.
9. Client Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored generative AI solutions.
- Lead client engagements, including scoping projects, defining deliverables, and managing successful project execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery of generative AI projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
10. Team Leadership:
- Build and manage a high-performing team of data scientists, AI researchers, and engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and innovation.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, supporting their professional development and career growth.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and ensure the team's productivity and effectiveness.
11. Thought Leadership:
- Establish the company and the generative AI practice as a thought leader through research publications, conference presentations, and contributions to the generative AI community.
- Contribute to the development of intellectual property, methodologies, and best practices specific to generative AI.
Key elements for the role:
- 15+ years of experience in generative AI, including hands-on experience with state-of-the-art generative models and techniques.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering generative AI projects in industry settings.
- Strong knowledge of AI and machine learning algorithms, frameworks, and tools, with a specific focus on generative AI techniques.
- Understanding of data engineering and preprocessing techniques for generative AI models.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence clients and stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, data science, artificial intelligence). Advanced degree preferred.
- Preferably MBA

Package Details
Base Salary - $200000 - $220000
Bonus - 30%
Performance Based Stock Options - $42,250 per year
