Head of IT Infrastructure

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a hands on Head of IT Infrastructure to lead and manage its technology infrastructure across corporate, manufacturing, and warehouse operations. The role will focus primarily on infrastructure reliability, networking, servers, hardware, cybersecurity, end user support, and business continuity.

The ideal candidate will be a well rounded infrastructure leader who can set direction while remaining actively involved in day to day technology operations and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the company's infrastructure strategy and daily IT operations
  • Manage servers, storage, networks, firewalls, wireless systems, hardware, endpoints, and Microsoft technologies
  • Ensure reliable technology support for corporate, manufacturing, laboratory, and warehouse operations
  • Oversee infrastructure upgrades, system monitoring, patching, backups, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity controls
  • Manage desktop support, hardware maintenance, user access, software licensing, and technology vendors
  • Maintain IT policies, documentation, asset inventories, and operating procedures
  • Support infrastructure requirements for enterprise applications, including Microsoft Dynamics NAV and SAP
  • Manage infrastructure projects, budgets, contracts, and external service providers
  • Support technology audits and compliance requirements within a regulated pharmaceutical environment

Qualifications

  • Strong hands on experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure
  • Broad expertise across servers, hardware, networking, security, storage, and end user computing
  • Experience with Microsoft environments, LAN and WAN networks, firewalls, virtualization, backups, and disaster recovery
  • Proven experience supporting manufacturing or warehouse operations
  • Strong troubleshooting, leadership, vendor management, and communication skills
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics NAV or SAP is a significant plus
  • Pharmaceutical or life sciences experience is a MUST
