Acquisition & Affiliate Specialist

About the role

The Acquisition & Affiliate Specialist is responsible for driving sustainable player growth and revenue across sportsbook and casino products through the strategic development and optimisation of affiliate and paid acquisition channels. The role owns the full acquisition lifecycle, from partner recruitment and campaign execution to performance optimisation and revenue delivery.

This position focuses on building high-value partnerships, executing data-driven marketing strategies, and maximising return on investment by continuously improving traffic quality, conversion rates, and player lifetime value.

Ultimately, the role exists to deliver efficient, scalable growth while protecting the brand, maintaining compliance, and contributing directly to the company's revenue targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

Affiliate Strategy, Growth & Revenue Ownership

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard high-value affiliates, publishers, and media partners across sportsbook and casino verticals
  • Build, manage, and grow long-term commercial relationships with key affiliate partners
  • Negotiate and structure competitive commission models (CPA, Revenue Share, Hybrid) aligned to business profitability
  • Activate and optimise affiliate campaigns through creatives, landing pages, tracking links, and promotional offers
  • Continuously scale high-performing partnerships while proactively identifying and removing underperforming affiliates
  • Drive affiliate channel revenue growth with full accountability for performance and ROI

Paid Acquisition & Campaign Management

  • Plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel acquisition campaigns (Google, Programmatic, Paid Media, ATL)
  • Own campaign structure, audience segmentation, testing strategies, and scaling frameworks
  • Work closely with CRM teams to improve onboarding, retention, and player lifetime value
  • Collaborate with Creative and Social teams to enhance messaging, conversion rates, and funnel performance
  • Continuously optimise campaigns to reduce CPA and improve conversion quality

Performance Monitoring, Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and analyse key metrics including CPA, FTDs, NGR, ROI, LTV, churn, and conversion rates
  • Maintain accurate tracking, attribution models, and reporting across all acquisition channels
  • Produce detailed performance reports with actionable insights for senior stakeholders
  • Identify inefficiencies, leakage, and optimisation opportunities across the acquisition funnel
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies, campaigns, and partner performance

Compliance, Risk & Brand Protection

  • Ensure all affiliate and paid acquisition activity complies with regulatory requirements, responsible gaming standards, and brand guidelines
  • Monitor affiliate content and campaigns to prevent misleading or non-compliant promotion
  • Identify and mitigate fraud risks, suspicious traffic, and low-quality player acquisition
  • Conduct regular audits of affiliate partners and traffic sources

Market Intelligence & Innovation

  • Monitor competitor strategies, affiliate programs, and market trends within sportsbook and casino environments
  • Identify new traffic sources, affiliate networks, and growth opportunities ahead of competitors
  • Explore innovative approaches to affiliate engagement, incentives, and program optimisation
  • Support expansion into new and emerging markets

Requirements (Experience & Qualifications)

  • 2–5 years' experience in affiliate marketing, acquisition, or performance marketing
  • Proven experience within iGaming, sports betting, or a regulated online gaming environment
  • Demonstrated success in building, managing, and scaling affiliate networks
  • Hands-on experience with affiliate platforms such as NetRefer, Income Access, MyAffiliates, or similar
  • Strong understanding of commission models including CPA, CPL, Revenue Share, and Hybrid structures
  • Experience managing paid acquisition channels (Google Ads, Programmatic, Paid Media, etc.)
  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related field (advantageous, not essential)
  • Familiarity with SEO, digital marketing principles, and acquisition funnels is beneficial
