Job Summary:

The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems to drive efficiency, quality, and innovation. This role plays a key part in implementing advanced technologies, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to support production goals and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize advanced manufacturing processes for new and existing products.

  • Lead projects involving automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 solutions.

  • Conduct process capability studies and implement process control methods to ensure product quality.

  • Collaborate with product design, R&D, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.

  • Design and specify manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixtures.

  • Identify and implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize workflow.

  • Analyze production data and generate reports to monitor process performance and drive improvements.

  • Support the introduction of new products into production by developing process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

  • Stay up to date with emerging manufacturing technologies and trends to maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in advanced manufacturing or process engineering, preferably in a high-tech or automotive environment.

  • Proven experience with automation, robotics, or smart manufacturing systems.

  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong project management and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
