Key Purpose:

We are looking on behalf of our client for the position of Group Head Marketing & Corporate Communication who will be responsible for shaping and driving the banks Corporate Branding, marketing, corporate communications, CSR, and public relations strategies. He will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing programs that enhance the banks digital landscape, brand image, foster strong client relationships, and support the banks growth objectives. This role involves close collaboration with senior management and requires a creative, analytical, and results-driven approach to manage the banks internal and external communications effectively. The Group Head of Marketing will also be responsible for overseeing the marketing team, ensuring alignment with the banks strategic goals, and managing resources efficiently to achieve desired outcomes.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the planning, development, and execution of the banks marketing strategies, corporate communications, CSR initiatives, and public relations efforts, both internally and externally.
  • Brand Communication: Ensure consistent communication of the banks desired image and position across all organizational levels and to all external constituencies.
  • Program Effectiveness: Ensure the effective management of all marketing, corporate communications, CSR, and public relations functions, including the creation, implementation, and measurement of comprehensive programs that enhance the banks image and position in the marketplace and among the public.
  • Editorial Oversight: Lead the editorial direction, design, and production of all marketing publications, ensuring they effectively convey the banks brand and messaging.
  • Marketing Support: Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing support materials and services, ensuring alignment with the banks strategic objectives in marketing, corporate communications, CSR, and public relations.
  • Market Perspective: Work closely with senior management to maintain and evolve a strategic perspective that aligns with market trends and the banks goals.
  • Planning and Budgeting: Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for marketing, communication, and public relations programs. Monitor progress, ensure adherence to plans, and evaluate performance to meet organizational objectives.
  • Team Management: Direct and coordinate the activities of the marketing team, collaborating at strategic and tactical levels with other bank functions to achieve integrated outcomes.

  • Strong creative and analytical skills.
  • Experience in developing and managing budgets.
  • Understanding of design and production of print material and publications.
  • Should also have strong command on latest digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, email Marketing tools, Canva, Semrush, Google Trends and Google SEO etc.
