Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies for solar energy solutions, focusing on driving revenue and achieving sales targets.
Client Consultation: Engage with potential and existing clients to understand their solar energy needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Technical Support: Provide detailed technical guidance on solar products, systems, and services, ensuring clients understand the benefits and features of the solutions offered.
Proposal Development: Prepare and present technical proposals, including cost estimates, product specifications, and system designs tailored to client needs.
Site Assessments: Conduct on-site visits to evaluate project feasibility, assess energy requirements, and suggest suitable solar solutions.
Market Research: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies to identify new business opportunities in the solar sector.
Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering, project management, and sales teams to ensure smooth execution of solar projects and customer satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and ensuring long-term partnerships.
Sales Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, market feedback, and potential challenges to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in solar project sales, with a solid understanding of solar energy solutions and systems.
- Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) technology, inverters, and other related components
- Ability to identify client needs, offer tailored solutions, and close sales deals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical clients
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design solutions based on client requirements and site assessments.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical and sales teams.
- Flexibility to travel for client meetings, site visits, and project assessments as required.
