About the job Security Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect our systems, networks, and data. You will be a key player in safeguarding our digital assets and ensuring compliance with security standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement secure network, system, and application architectures.

Monitor and respond to security incidents, including forensic analysis and incident containment.

Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.

Manage security tools such as firewalls, SIEMs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and encryption solutions.

Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.

Support compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR).

Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.

Research and recommend security enhancements and technologies.

Educate staff on security best practices and awareness.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.

Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.

Hands-on experience with security tools (e.g., Splunk, Nessus, Qualys, Wireshark).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and securing cloud infrastructure.

Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).
