Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive Upwork Specialist to manage and grow our presence on Upwork. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bidding, client communication, project acquisition, and profile optimization on Upwork. This role is critical in expanding our client base and increasing revenue through high-quality freelance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize company profiles on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
  • Identify potential clients and submit compelling proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Conduct regular bidding on relevant projects across Upwork categories.
  • Maintain a high response rate and win ratio by crafting winning strategies and customized pitches.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, negotiate terms, and close deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (design, development, marketing, etc.) to deliver project timelines and client satisfaction.
  • Track project progress, feedback, and ratings to ensure client satisfaction and profile improvement.
  • Stay updated with Upwork policies, trends, and platform best practices.
  • Generate weekly reports on leads, proposals submitted, deals closed, and performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with a strong track record of securing projects on Upwork.
  • Excellent English communication (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in crafting high-quality proposals and understanding project scopes.
  • Good understanding of freelance marketplaces and digital business models.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and time management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other platforms like Freelancer, Fiverr, Guru (plus point).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools or project management software.
  • Understanding of IT services, digital marketing, design, or software
