Key Responsibilities:

  • Review final approved loan packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance before funding.

  • Verify that all closing conditions and documentation requirements have been satisfied.

  • Coordinate with title companies, escrow agents, closing attorneys, and loan processors to schedule funding.

  • Prepare and disburse loan funds accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Confirm wire instructions, calculate final loan figures, and initiate funding requests.

  • Ensure all documents (e.g., promissory notes, closing disclosures, funding authorizations) are properly signed and dated.

  • Maintain accurate records of disbursed loans and reconcile funding reports.

  • Communicate funding status updates to internal teams and external partners.

  • Identify and resolve funding issues or discrepancies promptly.

  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and funding procedures for various loan types (e.g., mortgage, consumer, commercial).

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in loan funding, loan closing, or loan operations.

  • Strong understanding of loan documentation, compliance, and funding processes.

  • Familiarity with federal and state lending regulations (e.g., RESPA, TRID, TILA).

  • Proficiency with loan origination systems and funding software (e.g., Encompass, Calyx, or similar).

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with mortgage, commercial, or consumer loan funding.

  • Knowledge of wire transfer and escrow procedures.

  • Certification in mortgage or loan operations is a plus (e.g., CMLP, NMLS).
