About the job Truck Driver
Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and safety-conscious Truck Driver to join our team. The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across local, regional, or national routes in Canada, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while complying with all transport laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.

Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues.

Secure cargo properly and ensure safe loading and unloading of goods.

Maintain accurate logbooks, trip reports, and records in compliance with Transport Canada regulations.

Follow all applicable traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.

Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries.

Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep the truck clean and presentable.

Report any incidents, accidents, or delays promptly to the supervisor.

Provide excellent customer service during pick-ups and deliveries.
Requirements:

Valid Class 1/AZ or Class 3/DZ drivers license (as required by province).

Clean driving record with a strong safety focus.

Minimum [1-2] years of commercial truck driving experience preferred.

Knowledge of applicable Canadian transport regulations and logbook requirements.

Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including loading/unloading cargo.

Good communication and time-management skills.

Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or overnight routes if required.

Ability to work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision.
