About the job Assistant Construction Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Construction Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist in managing site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Construction Manager in overseeing all phases of the construction process from pre-construction to project close-out.

Monitor daily site activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.

Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and timelines.

Help maintain and update project schedules, budgets, and documentation.

Conduct site inspections and assist in resolving issues related to materials, workmanship, or safety.

Support permit acquisition, site logistics planning, and compliance with local regulations.

Attend project meetings and prepare status reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Track inventory of materials and equipment used on-site.

Ensure construction site cleanliness, organization, and safety at all times.

Liaise between field teams, engineers, architects, and clients to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

13 years of experience in construction or site supervision.

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software, and construction documentation.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans.

Willingness to work in field environments and adapt to changing project demands.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with large-scale or commercial construction projects.
