About the job Accounting Office Associate
The Accounting Office Associate provides essential support to the accounting department by performing daily financial and clerical tasks. This role ensures accurate processing of transactions, maintains organized records, assists with reconciliations, and helps keep the office running smoothly. The position requires attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely and accurate manner.

Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.

Perform data entry and update financial spreadsheets and databases.

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Support internal and external audits by organizing and retrieving necessary documents.

Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal departments.

Maintain an organized filing system for financial documents and correspondence.

Perform general office duties, such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus).

1-2 years of relevant accounting or clerical experience preferred.
