Agile Scrum Master

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Agile Scrum Master to lead and support our Agile teams in delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, coach team members on Agile best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, guiding them through Scrum events including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Coach team members, product owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, values, and practices.

• Act as a servant leader, helping the team stay focused, productive, and self-organized.

• Identify and remove obstacles that may hinder the teams progress and delivery.

• Protect the team from distractions and outside interruptions during sprints.

• Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.

• Support the product owner with backlog grooming, prioritization, and maintaining a clear product backlog.

• Monitor and report on key Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and team performance.

• Foster a culture of trust, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team.

• Drive Agile maturity by introducing and implementing best practices tailored to the organizations context.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

• Proven experience working as a Scrum Master in an Agile software development environment.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or similar Agile certification required.

• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and software development life cycles.

• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.

• Ability to resolve conflicts, build consensus, and maintain a positive team dynamic.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally).

• Experience working with distributed or remote teams is a plus.
