The leading online marketplace in Central America, is seeking an Advertising Sales Manager to lead our advertising sales team. This role will work closely with leadership to develop our vision and strategy, and position as a leading advertising solutions provider in the region. We are looking for a sales professional who is passionate about digital marketing and sales, customer service oriented, has an entrepreneurial spirit, works well with teams, is curious, highly analytical, and creative in problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute advertising sales strategy across the region, working with local and international agencies, clients, ad networks and exchanges to meet sales objectives
  • Develop roadmap for monetization of platform audiences and data
  • Lead a team of advertising sales executives and ad operations/trafficking
  • Build department budgets, manage and assign sales targets
  • Prepare go to market material, sales presentations and proposals
  • Serve as the face of the company in industry events, amongst industry groups and associations, building long-term relationships
  • Secure both always-on and seasonal or campaign-specific investments from clients
  • Develop out-of-the-box, 360° programs for key accounts
  • Maintain companys product offering at par with industry, striving to be first-movers and innovators in the space
  • Utilize both internal and external data sources to build compelling proposals and close sales
  • Keep abreast of trends and developments in our industry that impact our business

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field with strong digital knowledge
  • At least 3-4 years of experience with digital marketing, either in media buying/planning on the agency side, media sales, or related
  • Demonstrated success with digital marketing campaign executions with direct customers and agencies
  • Management experience
  • Open to travel to other markets
  • Experience and good networking across Central America or multiple markets a plus
