Pay Rate : $64-$72/hr on C2C

Job Description:
The Mobile Engineer will be responsible for implementing, supporting and maintaining a Windows tablet-based computing solution for the Customer. Troubleshooting Windows client systems in an Active Directory/SCCM-based environment, packaging and deploying software, and light scripting skills are required. Knowledge of operating within a VPN-based system is required. Self-motivated individual with strong follow-up and creative problem-solving skills are a must. Strong end-user communication skills are important.
Additional experience: with iOS, Android, and Mobile Device Management systems is a plus.
Requirements and Experience:
Record of success with analyzing and remediating 2nd- and 3rd-level Windows computing issues
Experience planning & configuring hardware and software on Windows systems
Strong verbal communication skills for working with various technical teams and occasionally with end-users
Basic written communication skills (experience creating documentation is a plus)
Certification in Microsoft Windows 10 a plus
Knowledge of computer architectures, networks and layered security, mobile devices, and peripheral products
Prior experience with Mobile Device Management systems and/or iPhone management a plus
Ability to work collaboratively and independently to manage, prioritize, track and follow-through on multiple tasks in parallel to meet challenging deadlines
Bachelors Degree preferred but not necessary, plus a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a technical support role, (e.g. technical support engineer, desktop support engineer, IT help desk technician, etc.)
Role Responsibilities:
Support Windows 10 based tablets connected via cellular networks over VPN.
Troubleshoot workstation issues, including diagnosing and remediating O/S issues, networking problems, software deployment issues, Group Policy assignments, and general operation.
Familiarity with VPN, secure builds, and other aspects of a secure enterprise architecture
Manage items in Active Directory to trigger GPo and AD-based software changes
Use SCCM to manage devices and create remotely-deployable software packages.
Work with development teams on deployment strategies, advise on implementations, research solutions, and plan architectures
Occasionally travel to NYC-area sites to troubleshoot systems.
Maintain and/or create scripted solutions (preferably PowerShell, though other scripting languages OK) for ad-hoc queries, custom management tasks, and other places where the tools above are not well-suited.
Manage VPN software (NetMotion), client networking and peripherals in a secure networked environment.
Coordinate with and advise level-1 support groups
Track / resolve issues identified through quality assurance testing
