The IT Project Manager is responsible for managing multifaceted IT projects ensuring scope is delivered according to deadlines, budget, and quality standards. The IT Project Manager manages enterprise wide strategic projects with complex scope and scale, and reports progress or matrix reports on a project directly to Senior and Executive Leadership. The IT Project Manager develops project plans, builds project schedules, manages project meetings, communicates progress and status, enforces quality management, and identifies, responds, and manages risks, issues, and changes and manages all information technology project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately. The IT Project Manager serves as a mentor for other IT Project Managers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides expertise and leadership skills to direct project team and ensure project and organizations goals, philosophies, and objectives are optimally supported by information technology
Creates and executes Project plans and revises appropriately to meet changing requirements and needs. Proactively plans and schedules Project timelines and milestone. Manages day-to-day operational and tactical activities of a Project. Diagnoses task / procedural change issues and helps to resolve the problem, escalating risks and delays appropriately.
Generates Status Reports; analyzes results of the Progress Reports and troubleshoot problem areas. Defines Project success criteria, communicating that throughout the Project team. Reviews deliverables prepared by the Project Team and objectively measures progress and health of the project
Collaborates with IT and Business Stakeholders to identify and mitigate risk
Ensures that Project documents are current and complete, as well as appropriately managed and stored. Assures that Project legal documents are completed and signed. Conducts Project post-mortems and creates Lessons Learned reports to identify Project elements that were both successful and unsuccessful.
Generates forecasts, manages budget/actuals, and tracks expenses against the project
Understands how to communicate difficult and sensitive information tactfully. Effectively communicates relevant Project information to superiors. Proactively manages changes in Project scope, identifies any potential crisis or issues and devises contingency plans to mitigate concerns
Previous project experience with Agile SAFe, SCRUM, Kahban, etc. methodologies a plus
Effectively applies the companys Project Management Lifecycle methodology and enforces Project standards. Minimizes exposure and risk on a Project. Ensures timely completion of Project level tasks. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the Project Team
Facilitates team meetings effectively. Holds regular status meetings with the Project Team. Keeps Project Team informed of changes within the Project. Delivers informative and well-organized presentations to the Project Team and Management
Performs all other related duties as assigned

- Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate in Information Systems degree or related technical field degree or equivalent experience (5 additional years of comparable work experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelors degree)
5+ years of project management experience leading technical projects, including development and execution
5+ years of experience data gathering / performing system analysis and developing / writing system requirements
Proficiency with developing requirements and performing system analysis
Proficiency with IT infrastructure deployments including network and voice legacy system migrations
Familiar with process engineering methodologies
Experience working with test plans and test cases
You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Experience with Service Now
Experience with any of the following systems: EMD, eClinicalWorks, Cerner, NextGen, GE, Eclipsys, Allscripts, Aprima
Knowledge of Client Server Technologies and Network Operating Systems, Network architecture, configuration, and protocols, Network Communications technology TCP / IP, DNS, and Internet concepts
Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
Proficiency with MS Project and MS Visio
Physical & Mental Requirements:
