Role-Finastra BSA

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (preferred) or New York, NY.

Duration: FTE / Contract

Salary: $130,000-$135,000 per annum

Pay Rate to : $60-$63/hr

Description:

For the new clients on Middle Office platform Finastra Fusion Summit application should be enabled to process OTC derivatives variations (cleared and bilateral) from trade inceptions through trade life cycle processing.

There are total of 54 OTC derivatives variation in scope across multiple asset classes.

High Level Instrument coverage

  • IRS/OIS swap
  • Inflation Swaps/Cap/Floor
  • Ccy Swaps
  • CDS/CDX
  • Equity/FI TRS
  • Vanilla and Exotic Equity Options
  • Vanilla and Exotic FX Options

Main duties/responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with Business users in Gathering the requirements.
  • Preparing the Functional Specification documents (FSD) / User stories
  • Responsible to provide the right Solution.
  • To do Impact assessment and provide the accurate Effort Estimation.
  • Preparing the testing specification documents
  • Coordinate with the Upstream and downstream system owners during the analysis and Testing Phase.
  • Responsible and collaborate with Developers, Testing teams and other SMEs throughout the Project.

Key Skills and Experience required for this role.

  • Minimum 7+ years of Business Analysis Experience in Finastra SUMMIT Experience
    • Experience in Summit Modules:
    • Working experience to Summit gateway loaders and Data Mapping) and Summit FT screen functionality used for trade intake process.
    • Good business understanding of Trade life cycle actions scheduled and externally instructed (RT/STP through FPML) including but not limited to cancel, partial/full termination, expiry/exercise, resets, corporate actions, cleared OTC netting, accruals, payments.
    • Working knowledge of Fusion Summit External Pricing functionality for Collateral exposure calculation
    • Working Knowledge of Summit FT and STK API
    • Good business knowledge of Capital Markets& Investment Banking, OTC trading, Derivatives
    • Should provide significant input to Solutioning and Functional design to adapt Summit Technical Solutions to Business requirements.
    • Decompose Business Requirement to Summit Functional plan tasks and provide accurate estimation of effort.
    • Well versed in Summit related Functional and Regression testing.
