About the Role
The CRM Consultant will be effective in determining practical solutions for both business and technical processes. The individual should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects that result in high customer satisfaction. The individual will work closely with resources at all levels. A successful consultant in this position will demonstrate strong relationships with internal clients in gathering business requirements, assessing business needs, and providing and implementing creative and effective solutions that conform to emerging technology standards. The consultant should be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, extremely organized, and able to prioritize multiple demands in a very fast-paced environment. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has a passion for helping organizations solve complex business problems leveraging technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult: Consulting, covering all aspects including presales and sales, product demonstrations, and implementation of primarily Dynamics 365 CRM applications.
- Writes specifications for customizations, data migration, and system integrations.
- Configure and customize the CRM system based on design specifications.
- Develop test plans and scripts.
- Conduct system and end-to-end testing of the application.
- Responsible for coding, unit testing, and creating supporting documentation for Dynamics 365 CRM Solutions.
- Collaboration: Liaise with sales and presales teams to prepare proposals, champion client presentations, and support business development and the sale of professional services when necessary.
- Liaise with prospects/clients to understand business requirements.
- Documentation: Documenting as-is and to-be within accurate and detailed scoping documents.
- Champion Engagement: Champion requirements gathering sessions, develop design specification documents and perform tasks such as configuration, testing, data manipulation, and documentation.
- Champion design review sessions with the customer to demonstrate completed work and gather adjustments and changes.
- Champion the Installation, setup, and configuration of Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.
- Champion data migration from external systems into Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Champion the migration from a legacy system to a newer version.
- Champion configurations within Dynamics 365 CE and/or Power Platform OOTB-functionality to implement business logic and automate business processes.
- Champion delivery of product training in a classroom or on-site setting.
- Advise: Advises customers on best practices for CRM processes, user interface, and architecture.
- Advise on complex Dynamics CRM business cases, propose, and implement comprehensive solutions based on CRM, 3rd parties, and customizations.
- Creates the functional and technical specifications documentation for the project.
- Provide Dynamics SME expertise to clients and mentor team members.
- Demonstrate expertise in Industry areas of focus and contribute to the development of Industry Solutions.
- Support: Support UAT with business users, capturing and reporting defects to the project to enable review, required remediation, and re-test.
- Maintain professional quality service. Earn the respect of our clients through demonstration of adaptability, commitment, resourcefulness, and proactive communications.
- Maintain best practices throughout Dynamics 365 projects.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and be aware of industry standards, best practices, and trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Certification: Microsoft Certifications on related platforms and products.
- Experience: Experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and/or other CRM applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Azure, Visual Studio, .NET Core, JavaScript, C#.
- Previous work experience with small/mid/enterprise companies and comfortable talking with clients at all levels within an organization.
- Knowledge of current business processes, issues, and technology related to the operation of sales, marketing, and service departments within an organization as well as programming knowledge and experience.
