Who We Are
Pure Barre is the largest and most established barre fitness concept in North America, with over 500 studios across the U.S. and Canada. Our signature technique combines elements of ballet, Pilates, and strength training into a full-body workout that builds strength, improves posture, and creates long, lean muscle.

Our Fairfax studio is seeking passionate, performance-driven teachers to lead classes that inspire, energize, and transform. Whether you have a background in fitness, dance, cheer, or musicor you simply bring strong rhythm and stage presencewe want to hear from you.

You must thrive in front of a crowd, love motivating others, and be eager to grow in your teaching craft. Musicality, memorization, and the ability to lead a high-energy, 55-minute class are essential.

Responsibilities

• Teach a minimum of 45 Pure Barre classes per week, including weekdays and rotational weekends

• Memorize and deliver Pure Barres signature choreography with energy, clarity, and precision

• Lead clients of all fitness levels through safe, effective, and empowering classes

• Build connections with clients to foster a supportive and inclusive studio environment

• Provide professional hands-on adjustments and ensure proper form throughout class

• Assist in studio operations and cleanliness between classes

• Commit to ongoing training, including quarterly choreography updates

• Promote membership offerings and contribute to the growth of the studio community

Qualifications

• Confident, energetic personality with strong public speaking and leadership presence

• Experience with rhythm-based movement such as dance, cheerleading, or musical performance preferred

• Excellent memorization skills and the ability to deliver scripted class content with accuracy

• Physically prepared to lift light weights, demonstrate push-ups, and sustain high energy for 55-minute sessions

• Willing to complete Pure Barres 100-hour Teacher Training, including:

  • A 4-day virtual or in-person intensive (ThursdaySunday)

  • 30 days of online coursework and in-studio practice

  • Submission of a Test Out video reviewed by Pure Barre Corporate

• One-year teaching commitment post-training required

• Lives within 30 minutes of the studio and maintains reliable transportation

• Comfortable discussing memberships and contributing to the studios client community
