They are seeking a talented and proactive Warehouse Operations Manager to join their high-performing team in Belfast. They have achieved year-on-year growth and are now focused on refining their operations to support this momentum.

The Role

As the Warehouse Operations Manager you will play a key leadership role whilst also reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse operations ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and a positive team environment. You will manage a core team of 12 warehouse staff, which expands to around 40 people during seasonal peaks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement,analysing current systems and implementing strategies.Take responsibility for building a vision of a great process and making it a reality.

  • Lead and mentor a dedicated team, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and professional development.

  • Liaise with the HR Manager to resolve all related issues, as this helps to foster a strong team culture.

  • Oversee all aspects of fulfillment, from stock logistics to maintaining a safe, organised workspace.

  • Ensure that all operational targets and KPIs are consistently met.

  • Maintain a proactive approach to minimizing loss, with a focus on preventing shrinkage,damage, and theft.

  • Check & ensure all warehouse policies, procedures, and safety regulations are up-to-date and strictly followed. You will also manage site and supplier audits.

  • Collaborate with transport companies to negotiate rates and services. Manage all stock logistics, ensuring accurate stock movements within the warehouse and to our retail shops.

Essential Criteria

  • A minimum 2+ years of senior management experience in Warehouse Operations or logistics management

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Direct experience with inventory management, including proactive strategies for shrinkage, damage, and theft prevention.

  • Highly resilient and self-motivated, with a collaborative work ethic.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and excellent communication skills.

  • Expertise in process optimisation, with a track record of implementing efficient workflow management systems.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team that fluctuates in size with seasonal demands.
