The Role

As a Traffic Desk Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our traffic planning desk. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring efficient staffing and resource allocation

• Conducting training programs and reviews

• Resolving driver and customer issues

• Liaising with fleet management

• Producing reports for management

• Ensuring adherence to company procedures

• Providing support to planners and coordinators

• Conducting performance reviews

• Attending meetings and proposing improvements

• Dealing with staff escalations

The Person

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in traffic management within the logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have:

• Recent experience as a Traffic Manager or Senior Transport Planner

• Strong geographical knowledge of Ireland

• Excellent communication skills

• Advanced IT skills

• In-depth knowledge of transport legislation

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Flexibility to work varying shifts
