Contracts Manager
We are seeking an experienced and talented Contracts Manager to join our high-performing team. This role will involve managing complex construction projects, ensuring their successful delivery within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans.
Oversee procurement and reconciliation of materials.
Ensure compliance with company commercial policies and procedures.
Manage project risk and implement mitigation strategies.
Produce and analyze progress reports, cost forecasts, and value reporting.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
Extensive experience in managing construction projects, preferably in the civil/water sector.
Strong knowledge of contract law, design management, and risk management.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project).
Experience with NEC contracts and Early Warning/Compensation Event mechanisms.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND/Degree).
SMSTS and CSCS certifications.
