The Role
We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Risk and Compliance Administrator to join our team on a 1-year contract basis. The successful candidate will support our risk and compliance functions, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in KYC, AML, and risk and compliance within the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing and maintaining the organisation's risk and compliance framework. Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and due diligence on new and existing customers.
Monitor and report on compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports.
Support the risk management team in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities.
Assist in the development and delivery of compliance training to staff.
Respond to internal and external compliance queries.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Monitor and manage the departmental risk and compliance mailbox, ensuring
timely and accurate responses to queries and requests.
Support the team with general administrative duties related to risk and compliance.
The Person
Minimum of 3 years working within Financial Services in a risk and control position.
Strong understanding of KYC and AML regulations and procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work a 1 year fixed-term contract.
