Inclusion IQ is proud to be supporting our client, a highly respected, top-tier, international law firm as they seek to appoint an experienced Associate who has experience working within Corporate M&A to join their Irish Headquarters.
The successful applicant will join an award-winning partner-led team within one of the most recognised and respected legal firms in Ireland which has established a reputation for providing expert advice and place an emphasis on diversity and Inclusion within their organisation.
You will work on a range of M&A and investment transactions, and investor and investee roles. You will also work on Private Equity transactions, with exposure to both domestic and strong international scope. The successful applicant will also be allowed to work in our client's London office as part of this role.
The Role
This role is ideal for a highly commercial and experienced solicitor who is looking to scale their knowledge and move to one the most respected law firms in Ireland. You will work on some of the largest, most high-profile, innovative and complex transactions in the Irish market and internationally.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake the following day-to-day duties:
Drafting and negotiating deal documents required to support Corporate transactions
Running all elements of transactions with an appropriate level of partner guidance to the extent required
Advising a range of domestic and international clients on ongoing advisory matters
Managing due diligence exercises and carrying out or overseeing relevant elements of due diligence
Managing more junior Associates / Trainees on deal teams and in the wider Corporate Department
The Person
To be considered for this opportunity applicants MUST be in a position to demonstrate the following skills and experiences;
1 to 3 years + PQE with Corporate experience from an international or Irish law firm
Genuine interest and enthusiasm in Corporate M&A work
Strong work ethic
Progressed drafting and written communication skills
Willingness to take responsibility and show initiative
