Inclusion IQ is supporting our client, a premium law firm located in the heart of Dublin as they seek to appoint an Associate, Corporate M&A to join their prestigious team on a full-time permanent basis.

The successful applicant will join a firm, that advances all their employees, and will not pigeonhole employees into a role, you will be listened to and work with a team that prides itself on being the best in the business.

The Role

As the Associate within the corporate department, you will work alongside a highly experienced legal team and assist public companies on all legal matters relating to M&A and large-scale international transactions.

You will work with many listed Irish PLCs on an ongoing basis and will be regularly involved in the most high-profile corporate transactions.

You will be required to advise on a range of corporate transactions including

  • Public and Private M&A.

  • Shareholder activism and disputes.

  • Corporate redomiciliations, reorganisations, schemes of arrangement and restructurings.

The Person

To be considered for this position applicants must demonstrate the following skills and experience;

The successful candidate will have:

  • 1-4 PQE in corporate law, ideally with specific experience in public company work.

  • Strong document drafting skills.

  • Proven communication and analytical skills with a high degree of commercial awareness.

  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills; the ability to manage a busy workload and client needs on a consistent basis.

  • Have an excellent academic background.

  • Be qualified as a solicitor in Ireland or another common law jurisdiction.
