The Role

As the front-end developer, you'll build and maintain the brand's Shopify presence, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and responsive designs. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Shopify Theme Development: Building, customising, and maintaining Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (TypeScript is a plus).

  • User Interface Development: Developing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • API Integration: Developing and implementing features using Shopify APIs and third-party integrations.

  • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Shopify stores, and optimising web performance for speed and efficiency.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

  • Internal Website Development: Developing internal company websites and apps.

  • Version Control: Utilizing Git/version control for collaborative development.

The Person

  • Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in a frontend development role, ideally with Shopify Themes.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with TypeScript is a plus. Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations.

  • Design Acumen: An exceptional eye for design, with the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Experience creating wireframes and mockups.

  • Performance Optimization: Strong knowledge of web performance optimisation and best practices.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Problem-Solving: Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Version Control: Proficient in Git/version control workflows.
