Summary of Duties & Responsibilities
Our client is seeking an SDET I who can apply fundamental skills in test automation, manual testing, and continuous integration in support of their quality assurance team. Contribute to ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Essential Functions
Technical
- Maintain automated test frameworks for desktop, web, and native mobile apps and API's
- Execute manual and automated tests, including functional, regression, and performance testing
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve software defects
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to test case design
- Utilize version control systems (e.g., TFS, Git) and CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing processes
Methodology
- Adhere to Agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Document test plans, cases, and results in alignment with project requirements
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing standards and best practices
- Stay updated with industry trends and tools by engaging in continuous learning
Team Support
- Collaborate with a high-performing QA team
- Engage in test planning, strategy, and execution throughout the SDLC
- Align with our client's mission, strategy, and values
- Foster a culture of ownership, quality and continuous improvement
- Perform related duties as assigned
Skills & Competencies
Abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Technical
- Proficiency in programming languages like C# (mandatory), TypeScript (mandatory), and Python
- Familiarity with test automation tools like Playwright (mandatory) and Ranorex
- Experience in databases and SQL (mandatory) for backend testing
- Experience with DevOps principals and tools such as TeamCity, ADO, Jenkins
- Experience integrating test suites into Jenkins and ADO Pipelines
- Experience with using code repositories like TFS and Git
Education or Prior Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4-6 years of QA and automation experience
- ISTQB Foundation level or higher Certification – Preferred
