Workday Financial Management Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workday Functional Consultant with a strong background in Financial Management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing and optimizing Workday Financial Management solutions, a deep understanding of financial processes, and the ability to drive business improvements through innovative use of Workday functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the implementation of Workday Financial Management modules, including configuration, testing, and deployment.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

Design and deliver customized Workday Financial Management solutions that meet business needs.

Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for Workday Financial Management, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, and Expense Management.

Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.

Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and project teams.

Support post-implementation activities, including issue resolution, process optimization, and system enhancements.

Stay updated with the latest Workday Financial Management features and functionalities, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Workday Financial Management with other business systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management modules.

Proven experience in implementing and configuring Workday Financial Management solutions.

Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex business requirements.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Workday Financial Management certification is highly desirable.
