Position Summary:

- Under the supervision of a Leader, the Salesforce CPQ Architect is responsible for expert architecture for the Salesforce CPQ platform understanding best practices for leading to cash utilizing the Salesforce platform and CLM tools.

- Experience in Salesforce CPQ concepts and experience & knowledge of multichannel architecture, data modeling, data exchange, and integrations is key. 

- Responsible for data architecture, data modeling, and taxonomy set. 

- Experience in enabling guided selling processes for channel partners and customers up, code review, and sprint story estimation. 

- Understanding complex work environments and building a cohesive platform that has custom configurations and needs.

A proven working knowledge of Salesforce CPQ (PKA Steelbrick) with experience in writing business requirements, direct setup of pricing rules, configuration attributes, pricing model creation (block/slab/discount schedules/configuration attributes), and running complex reports and data updates within Salesforce CPQ. 

- This position will also play a role in the company-wide strategy, planning, execution, and support of CRM (Salesforce.com) and sales process integration for acquisitions.

Primary Accountabilities:

Technical (70%)
Architect and execute on CPQ development business needs
Ensure CPQ builds are scalable for future
Architect and execute through collaboration Sales Automation/Quote-to-Cash/CPQ (Configure/Price/Quote) systems/processes
Deep understanding of CPQ capabilities and custom development needed to enhance CPQ capabilities
Own quality of the CPQ development and deployment success by leading Quality Assurance (QA), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-user training activities
Understands user experience needs and can build to assist with adoption.
Translates business requirements into solutions that best leverage our CPQ platform
Ability to configure and build complex advanced approvals.
Designs, implements and maintains sales dashboards for sales leaders and reps, calling out actionable insights for sales improvement
Lead role in the development and execution of sales integration plans for new acquisitions
Performs acquisition data integration analysis, cleanup, and designs data migration strategy
Proactively provides reporting as new initiatives arise
Leads efforts to maintain system wide data cleanliness for accurate reporting

Strategy (30%)
Lead quote to cash projects for the enterprise with the ability to influence and drive to completion
Lead CPQ pods that includes developers, BAs and Administrators
Work across all lines of business to understand needs for growing sales through the quote to cash process
Build a technical quote to cash roadmap by collaborating with business owners that drives simplification for our users and to quickly build new products
Collaborate with pricing and product owners in each LOB to ensure visibility to new products and timelines

Required Qualification:

Masters's Degree in IT or equivalent experience and Salesforce Certifications
8+ Years of Salesforce Sales Cloud Experience
3-4 Years of Salesforce CPQ Experience (Formerly Steelbrick)
1-2 Years Salesforce CPQ Architect
Salesforce Developer I Certification Required
CPQ Certification
Scrum certification preferred
Developer II Preferred
Preferred 1-3 years with Jira, Azure, CRM analytics, Tableau, Java
