About the job SAP HCM Functional Consultant
Functional implementations with a specialized focus on managing, maintaining, and modernizing US Payroll operations within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
Consultancy objective(s)
Provide Functional maintenance and support of the SAP HCM modules.
Main activities
The selected candidate will:
Works closely with Subject Matter Experts, business partners, user community, other SAP Analysts, development team and other team members in the organization, on SAP maintenance and support tasks, projects, and initiatives.
Translates business requirements into detailed functional specifications, test scripts, and other system documentation while adhering to company standards
Identifies benefits, risks, and alternatives in proposed system designs and their impact on the integration with other systems and SAP modules.
Coordinate the lifecycle of application changes, corrective, and new functionalities, in area of responsibility.
Performs SAP configuration to support changing and new business needs.
Perform advanced SAP configuration, including the maintenance of gross-to-net calculations, Payroll Schemas, and Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs) to support changing business needs.
Configure, maintain, and optimize the SAP Payroll Control Center (PCC) on S/4HANA, including the definition of policies, validation rules (Alerts), KPIs, and utilizing HANA-optimized declustered payroll results.
Identify and investigate options for developing and improving business systems, bridging the needs of business users with IT area.
Support daily operations and identify risks that may affect the continuity of the operations.
Leverage the SAP Solution Manager for Application Lifecycle Management and Operations tasks
Qualifications
Academic Degree/level: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, related Business Discipline, or equivalent experience on the field.
Professional Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in a SAP HCM implementor role, including business blueprint, configuration, test and implementation.
Language: Spanish. Ability to communicate in English is a must.
Areas of Expertise: Human Capital Management (HCM) modules of SAP ECC 6.0, including Payroll and Time Management in SAP ECC 6.0.
Requirements
Excellent communication and business relationship skills as well training to end user's experience.
Ability to work in challenging environments and coordinate activities with other ITE colleagues and multiple vendors.
Experience of at least 7 years in SAP HCM (ECC 6.0/ S/4HANA) with focus on:
Payroll (Gross-to-Net, Schemas, PCRs, Wage Type Valuation, Off-cycle processing).
Payment Configuration: Hands-on experience configuring bank files and payment formats using DMEE / DMEEX (Data Medium Exchange Engine) and the Payment Medium Workbench (PMW)
Taxes (preferably US Taxes)

Ability to implement best practices of HCM processes in SAP through application configuration, with minimum development and system customization.
Ability to understand and design a business requirement with focus in business process, impact analysis and integration with other processes and / or systems.
Ability to review and understand SAP Configuration, Interfaces, and programs to lead the trouble shoot of defects or incidents reported in the operation of the SAP solution.
Ability for debugging and have a technical understanding of functional solutions.
Desired
Expertise in training and communication is a plus.
SAP HCM Certification is a plus.
Experience in SAP Upgrades, and regression test strategy is a plus.
Knowledge of HR Security and structural profiles is a plus.
Knowledge of SuccessFactors is a plus.
