Role Overview

We are building an enterprise-grade SAP-based financial product covering Core Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Reconciliation. As part of this initiative, we are kicking off discovery work around AI-enabled capabilities within SAP, starting with Financial Reconciliation and expanding into broader cross-enterprise use cases.

We are looking for a hands-on SAP S/4HANA Technical expert profile who deeply understands SAP data and finance workflows and is also comfortable working across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems, including APIs, services, and AI tooling.

This is an exploratory and iterative role focused on designing, prototyping, testing, gathering feedback, and rapidly refining solutions. We are not looking for a narrow SAP specialist or a pure AI expert disconnected from SAP realities—the ideal candidate sits at the intersection of SAP finance, data, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and prototype AI-enabled capabilities within SAP S/4HANA, starting with Financial Reconciliation use cases.

  • Work deeply with SAP S/4HANA data models, CDS Views, APIs, and OData services.

  • Explore and integrate AI and analytics capabilities across SAP and non-SAP platforms.

  • Build and test proof-of-concepts, validate ideas quickly, and iterate based on feedback.

  • Collaborate with enterprise product teams, finance stakeholders, and technical partners.

  • Bridge SAP financial processes with external services, APIs, and AI tooling.

  • Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable, enterprise-ready solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, especially:

    • Data models

    • CDS Views

    • APIs / OData services

  • Solid understanding of SAP Finance domains, such as:

    • Core Accounting

    • Financial Reporting

    • Financial Reconciliation

  • Experience integrating SAP with non-SAP systems using APIs and services.

  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, discovery-driven environments.

  • Ability to design, prototype, test, and iterate quickly.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to AI / ML use cases in enterprise or financial systems.

  • Experience with SAP BTP, analytics, or AI-related services.

  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and modern data platforms.

  • Background in enterprise-scale financial or accounting systems.
