For our client in the chemical industry we are looking for a

Quality Manager


TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • First contact person for the german food and feed authorities, e.g. ensuring regular reporting to the German authorities in charge of food and feed ingredients
  • Contact-person for the ESHAS and informing about EU-recalls of HACCP products if required.
  • Contact-person concerning the GMP-Plus-organization, The Netherlands.
  • Ensuring that MSDS are updated according to CLP-legislation and sent to customers using the product
  • Ensuring that product-labels are in accordance with the food and feed or REACH-legislation.
  • Distributing legislation updates in connection with HACCP and GMP to the Business Unit
  • Checking and reporting about new QM and HACCP, GMP, GMP-plus legislation or other new legal requirements and providing all relevant information about them to the Business Unit.
  • Creation of the HACCP/GMP+ documents and maintenance of HACCP/GMP+ documentation.
  • Carrying out audits at manufacturers / stockists / contract fillers
  • Preparation of audit reports at manufacturers / stockists / contract fillers
  • Processing of the suggestions for improvement of the internal / external audits
  • Preparation / follow-up of the inspection visits of the feed authority.
  • Third country representative for selected products
  • Traceability check annually
  • Crisis test 2x per year
  • Registration and evaluation of laboratory results (Eurofins)
  • Assessment of food fraud in HACCP products
  • Training of the employees concerned

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree, ideally in chemistry or related natural sciences or comparable experience following recognised training
  • Enthusiasm for detailed work,
  • Pleasure in literature research and paper,
  • Service-orientated attitude towards internal and external customers,
  • Very good organisational skills as well as good time and self-management (including setting up a filing system),
  • Willingness to travel,
  • English is a prerequisite.
