Sales and Product Manager Nutraceuticals (m/f/d)
Frankfurt am Main
Area of responsibility:
- As Sales and Product Manager in the Life Science team, you will take responsibility for a product group and continuously expand the portfolio.
- With your expertise in nutraceuticals, food additives, or sports nutrition and your winning personality, you will convince customers of the benefits of our products and quickly become a sought-after consultant.
- You can rely on an existing high-quality product range and the quality of our suppliers, with whom you will communicate regularly, as well as on experienced colleagues and BU management.
- Of course, this also means that you will regularly contact and visit customers and potential customers, especially in the DACH region, but also in other EU countries from time to time.
- Last but not least, you will always have your ear to the ground, attend trade fairs and conferences, and thus recognize trends at an early stage.
- With your insights, you will successfully develop new products and support their market launch with the assistance of your colleagues and supervisors.
Job requirements:
- Commercial or chemical/technical training, degree in economics, chemistry, ecotrophology, or similar.
- Several years of experience in trade and sales with field service functions for nutraceuticals and/or food ingredients that require explanation, if possible with a focus on plant and yeast extracts, yeast proteins, amino acids, or similar HACCP ingredients. Experience in application technology would be an advantage, but is not a prerequisite.
- Ideally, expertise in procurement marketing or sourcing.
- Business fluent English, possibly knowledge of an additional foreign language and willingness to travel (in Europe, possibly also worldwide) as well as proficiency in MS Office.
