Sutton Valence School, a leading English co-educational independent day and boarding school, in association with Hopeland International Kindergarten Group, a successful Chinese owned independent education provider, opened this new co-educational, dual curriculum Preparatory School for 7-12 year olds in Tianjin, China's sixth largest city, in September 2017.

As the school is expanding rapidly, it now requires several full-time English-speaking teachers.

There are also huge opportunities to be involved in CPD progammes. The school gives an annual allowance where staff can proactively research personal CPD courses. In addition, whole staff courses take place and all staff are added to the Educare system to complete their CPD of interest. Scholarships for BISE courses are available along with networking and training.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Honours Degree in subject speciality.
2. Minimum of two years teaching experience.
3. Strong academic background.
4. High professional standards

2. Strong teacher with excellent subject knowledge.
3. Knowledge and experience of assessment strategies.
4. Experience in maintaining high behavioural standards.
5. Pastoral care of the children to ensure that each child is given the attention he or she requires.
