PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Collects, analyses, interprets and reports on all data used during surveys and evaluation processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 /STD 10 with Mathematics (NQF 4) is essential.
  • Chamber of Mines Basic Sampling Certificate is essential.
  • Chamber of Mines Elementary Certificate is essential.
  • 3 Years Survey and Sampling Experience is essential
  • Computer Literacy Experience is essential

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • GATHERS, ANALYSES AND COMMUNICATES RELIABLE SURVEY INFORMATION: Captures data, and ensures administration of recording on electronic systems and backing systems up.
  • CHANGE TRANSFORMATION AND PROCESS OPTIMISATION: Identifies and recommends initiatives aimed at eliminating waste, improving productivity and reducing operating costs within scope and assists with the implementation thereof to contribute to the achievement of operational objectives.
  • STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS: Builds, supports and maintains healthy diverse internal and external relations and implement remedial actions where required.
  • SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND RISK: Adheres to safety regulations and mine standards, procedures and practices and reports non-compliance.
