Senior PMA Officer

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To ensure that asset management is effectively performed with regards to master data, maintenance tactics, planning, scheduling, monitoring of maintenance performance and reporting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 certificate (NQF Level 4) is essential
• A recognized Trade Certificate is advantageous OR
• Recognized training in Planned Maintenance is essential
• Minimum of three years working experience as a Maintenance Planner is essential

• Computer literacy (MS Office + SAP) is essential
• SAP Analysis for MS Office (Desirable)
• Microsoft Project (Desirable)
• Valid medical certificate or be medically fit in order to obtain such a certificate

COMPETENCIES:

• Knowledge of machinery & equipment
• English literate with good communication skills
• Must have good administrative and organising skills
• Must be able to work under pressure

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Update and maintain master data and warranties in SAP
• Assist with placing orders and creating notifications on SAP
• Update and maintain maintenance schedules
• Compile and update routine maintenance task lists.
• Compile management data and reports.
• Notify responsible persons of changes in Planned Maintenance activities
• Monitor and supervise individual and team performances.
• Work according to the Asset Management procedures and governance documents
