POSITION DESCRIPTION

The position will be part of the dynamic team based at Ngezi Concentrator Laboratory department reporting to the Shift Assayer.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 O level passes including Mathematics, English Language and Science

• At least 5 years experience in a Laboratory environment will be an added advantage

• Computer literacy with Windows and Microsoft Office programmes

• Exposure to fire assaying and AA operations will be an added advantage

• Knowledge of the Business Management Systems (BMS).

KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Good communication skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collecting samples from processing plants
• Preparation of samples
• Assaying of samples under the supervision of the shift Assayer
• Perform housekeeping duties
