PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To carry out allocated tasks pertaining to specific work procedures within the applicable section.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 /Matric Certificate (with Mathematics/Physical Science) or NQF 4 Equivalent Required
  • 1-3 Years Processor Experience Required

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Identifies and communicates abnormal activities to the responsible person.
  • Supports team members as required.
  • Inspects equipment as per instructions and the work environment.
  • Provides general assistance during breakdowns and replaces defective parts.
  • Follows all instructions from supervisors and communicates effectively.
  • Operates mobile and communication equipment.
  • Adheres to operational procedures at all times.
  • Assists in operating and roving of the process.
  • Matches the process flow with the requirements of the next process.
  • Identifies and recommends initiatives aimed at eliminating waste, improving productivity and reducing operating costs within scope and assists with the implementation thereof to contribute to the achievement of operational objectives.
  • Builds, supports and maintains healthy diverse internal and external relations and implement remedial actions where required.
  • Adheres to safety regulations and mine standards, procedures and practices and reports non-compliance.
