Executive Health - Western Limb

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To provide strategic guidance and managerial oversight to the Impala Rustenburg Western Limb Operations on all health issues, occupational and non-occupational (clinical care).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree in Medical, Mining, or related sciences is essential.

• A post graduate degree or diploma in Health, Mining or related sciences is advantageous.

• A business management qualification is advantageous.

• Experience in Mining Health is advantageous.

• Ten (10) years experience in a Senior Management and Leadership role

• In depth knowledge of business process particularly related to the provision and delivery of health care.

• In-depth knowledge of the legislative framework for health.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, monitor, and adapt health strategies, in line with Implats Group Strategy, for the Impala Rustenburg WL Operations.

• Develop and implement plans in support of the strategy and ensure that all health risks are identified and that appropriate plans are in place to mitigate health risks.

• Oversee the provision of both Occupational and Clinical health care in support of the strategy.

• Ensure excellence in compliance with internal and external health standards.

• Oversee the reporting of health performance to internal and external stakeholders
