PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To safely load, move and off-load heavy materials from a certain loading point to a specific offloading point for operation purpose.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 / STD 10 (NQF 4) Essential
• With code 10 Drivers Licence (C1) is essential
• Telehandler Driver with experience in driving heavy material lift truck in a mining environment is essential
• Must have knowledge of Safety Regulations
• Environmental Principles knowledge is essential
• Must have knowledge of estimating Weights
• Valid medical certificate or be medically fit in order to obtain such a certificate

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Receive trip instructions from the responsible person about loads, moves and off-loads of materials using a telehandler.
• Observes component performance.
• Reports deviations to the responsible person.
• Adhere to Safety Policies and Procedures.
