PMA Officer
About the job PMA Officer
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To ensure that asset management is effectively performed and reported with regards to planning, scheduling, monitoring of maintenance compliance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 certificate (NQF Level 4) is essential
- A qualification in Engineering/Planning will be advantageous.
- Previous experience in a Planned Maintenance environment is essential.
- 2 Years PMA Head Clerk experience is essential
- Valid medical certificate or be medically fit in order to obtain such a certificate
COMPETENCIES:
- Knowledge of rotables and equipment repairs.
- English literate with good communication skills.
- Must have good administrative and organising skills.
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in performing assigned tasks.
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in performing assigned tasks.
- Must be able to manage a team of admin personnel
- Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word experience is essential.
- SAP working experience is essential.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Creates non routine work orders from notifications received.
- Plan, scope and schedule work in consultation with maintenance supervisors.
- Facilitates the weekly scheduling meeting.
- Prints and distributes Planned Maintenance job cards.
- Capture and report on availabilities of equipment.
- Report on potential warranty claims.
- Reporting and follow-up on outstanding services and breakdowns.
- Collects and captures breakdown information, property damage and theft information.
- Notifies responsible person of warranty claims issues.
- Assists with placing orders and creating notifications in SAP.
- Supports and participates in change management initiatives to drive transformation and optimisation.
- Provides relevant support to stakeholders to ensure team objectives are achieved.
- Adheres to safety regulations and mine standards, procedures and practices and reports non-compliance.
