PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To manage and process non – order invoices specific, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. To verify invoices, handle discrepancies, and maintain vendor relationships, contributing to a company's smooth financial operations.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 (Accounting and Mathematics) or NQF equivalent 4 is essential.
  • Recognised Accounting Certificate is desirable.
  • Accounting diploma/degree or NQF equivalent is desirable.
  • At least 2 years working experience in Accounts Payable Environment is essential
  • Supply chain experience is desirable
  • Supervisory experience is desirable

  • Understanding of Mine Business Processes
  • SAP and SAP BEST
  • Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)
  • Good communication skills (Fluent in English)
  • Excellent Excel, MS Word & PowerPoint skills (Level 3)
  • Report writing & minute taking skills
  • Analytical and Investigative skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Supervisory skills
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Liaises with suppliers, accountants and various stakeholders in the business to resolve invoice queries.
  • Performs financial accounting function.
  • Drives the turn-around time on invoices.
  • Analyses and interprets statistical data.
  • Ensures compliance with the cash disbursement internal controls.
  • Understands the Procurement, Purchase order placement and non-order approval payment process
  • Ensures the Approval Framework is adhered to.
  • Adheres to Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Performs auditing function of accounts payable data.
  • Effectively engages with various cross-functional teams within Impala
