Zimbabwe Platinum Mines (Pvt) Limited (ZIMPLATS) is the largest producer of platinum group metals in Zimbabwe It owns and operates the Ngezi Underground Mines, the Ngezi Concentrator Plant, and the Selous Metallurgical Complex (SMC), delivering long-term value through responsible mining and sound financial stewardship.

This position will be part of the dynamic team based at SMC and will report to the Manager - Technology Infrastructure & Operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science/Telecommunications/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of IT project management methodologies, processes, tools, and documentation.
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, systems, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
- Project Management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, CAPM, Agile, or equivalent will be an added advantage.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and closure of IT projects in line with approved business requirements, budgets, schedules, and technical standards.
- Coordinate IT project activities involving internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants, vendors, and technology service providers.
- Manage and coordinate vendors and contractors to ensure delivery in accordance with agreed technical specifications, contractual requirements, schedules, safety requirements, and service standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, technology deployment, operational efficiency, and service quality.
- Provide end-user support and training in line with service level agreements
- Proactively communicate with users to set expectations and enable the most efficient service delivery
