Serviceman Technician

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To maintain, repair, and upkeep mining equipment. Perform routine inspections, troubleshot issues, and diagnose problems to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
• Applicable Training Structures
• 1-Year experience as an Engineering Assistant

COMPETENCIES:

• Adheres to safety regulations and mine standards, procedures and practices and reports non-compliance.
• Participates in regular safety meetings and makes recommendations to ensure overall safety.
• Performs regular inspections in area of work and report hazards to ensure environment safety and hazard free and recommends remedial action where necessary.
• Builds, supports and maintains healthy diverse internal relations and implement remedial actions where required.
• Provides relevant support to stakeholders to ensure team objectives are achieved.
