MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics, or an equivalent Business Management qualification
- Professional qualification such as full CILT/CIPS/CSCP/CLTD/CPSM/ is required
- A minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience in end-to-end supply chain planning, contracts administration, and logistics within a mining, manufacturing, processing, or heavy industrial environment
- Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling systems
- Technical knowledge on and application of SCM & L Information Technology based systems and processes
- A self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal, planning and leadership skills
- Data analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking
- Conduct deep-dive research into global supply markets, commodity pricing, and emerging logistics technologies (e.g., automation, AI) to guide strategic sourcing.
- Research and assist develop predictive supply chain statistical models to forecast supply bottlenecks, map lead times, and optimize inventory levels.
- Evaluate potential and existing vendors by researching financial health, production capacity, and sustainability practices to minimize supply risk.
- Research, evaluate and propose various supply chain technology solutions for improved supply chain processes.
- Investigate current supply chain operational workflows and utilize advanced analytics to design lean, cost-effective, and highly efficient supply chain methodologies.
- Translate research and complex data into actionable presentations for executives, procurement, and supply chain program teams
- Contracts administration, governance and vendor management
- Produce management reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly), forecasts and budgets for Supply Chain
- Promote adherence to the company's Business Management System, policies, and procedures.
