Medical Receptionist, Hillcrest KwaZulu-Natal

Our client, based in Hillcrest in KwaZulu-Natal, is looking to employ an experienced medical receptionist for their practice.


Requirements:

  • Diary and appointment management
  • Answering incoming calls
  • Creating patient files
  • Managing patient flow
  • Typing various practice notes and documentation
  • Scanning and uploading of documentation
  • Assisting with follow ups or rescheduling of appointments
  • Ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the practice
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
  • General administration
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with the patients
  • Maintain efficient patient service
  • Maintain confidentiality of all doctors, staff and patient information


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Matric
  • At least 1 - 2 years' experience in a Specialist medical practice
  • Microsoft office
  • Medical Billing Software experience
  • Must have own transport
  • Must reside within a reasonable distance to the practice

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 08h00 - 17h00
  • Overtime as required
