Medical Practice Manager, Cape Town Southern Suburbs
Our client, a Pulmonologist based within the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, is seeking to recruit an experienced medical practice manager & administrator.
Requirements:
- Welcoming patients to the practice
- Reviewing of the daily ward reports
- Answering phones and managing patient expectations
- Managing the patient dairy, appointments and emails accurately
- Managing medical application forms
- Follow up communication with patients and getting patient feedback
- Communication with General practitioner practices and booking of new referrals
- Compiling of clinical summaries and GP feedback
- Invoicing
- Ordering and maintaining stock within the practice
- Keeping practice clean and in order
- Management of additional staff
- Learning about additional operations such as lung function testing
Qualification:
- Matric qualification
- At least 2 years' experience as a medical receptionist
- Experience in a medical practice is essential
- Experience in medical invoicing will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in VeriClaim will be an added advantage

Working hours:
- Monday to Friday: 08h00 - 17h00
- Overtime in case of emergencies
