Paediatrician, Klerksdorp – REF# IMR073-MP

A healthcare facility in Klerksdorp is seeking a qualified Paediatrician to provide inpatient and outpatient care while managing the clinical workload and maintaining high standards of patient care.

This role requires strong clinical expertise, effective communication with parents and caregivers, and the ability to manage a busy hospital workload while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Attend to inpatient and outpatient paediatric patients.
• Conduct consultations, clinical assessments and follow-up appointments.
• Develop and manage appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing patient care and continuity of care.
• Communicate professionally with parents, caregivers and referring doctors.
• Liaise with specialists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
• Support daily clinical operations and manage a busy caseload effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• MBChB degree.
• Registered Paediatrician with the HPCSA.
• Previous hospital and/or private practice experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a specialist team.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a demanding workload.
• Full-time availability.
