Job Responsibilities
Assist the finance team in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including data entry in ledgers and journals.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and tracking payments.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
Help in reconciling accounts and ensuring accuracy of financial data.
Assist with tax and statutory compliance documentation as required.
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide general accounting support.
Learn and assist with the use of accounting software (QuickBooks or other tools) and Excel-based reporting.
Shift: 9.00am - 6.00pm
Location: Battaramulla (On-Site)
Job Requirements
Currently in the final year of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or recent graduates.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Familiarity with MS Excel and willingness to learn financial reporting tools.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle tasks under supervision and meet deadlines.
