Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the finance team in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including data entry in ledgers and journals.

  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and tracking payments.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.

  • Help in reconciling accounts and ensuring accuracy of financial data.

  • Assist with tax and statutory compliance documentation as required.

  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide general accounting support.

  • Learn and assist with the use of accounting software (QuickBooks or other tools) and Excel-based reporting.


Shift: 9.00am - 6.00pm
Location: Battaramulla (On-Site)


Job Requirements

  • Currently in the final year of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or recent graduates.

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

  • Familiarity with MS Excel and willingness to learn financial reporting tools.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to handle tasks under supervision and meet deadlines.
